After graduating from Thammasat University with, Ekarin switched from using his logical left brain to his right-hemisphere and unleashed his creative spirit. He started his career in the publishing industry as a free-lance food journalist at leading Thai and international publishing houses. Publications ranged from Bangkok Post’ The Magazine, ELLE, ELLE Decoration, cooperated magazines such as Siam Paragon as well as the popular Thai press. From this, he developed a proficiency in creating food concepts and soon became known for his stylish flare. He has now been working in the industry for nearly fifteen years and is currently recognized as one of Thailand’s top stylists.

The narrative food stylist. Ekarin draws inspiration from his passion for art, culture, fashion and design to create his conceptual framework. He believes that there are unlimited ways to present food and enjoys the challenge of finding unique perspectives.

He also believes that every plate of food has its own story waiting to be told.

Creating pictorial visualizations of a dynamic moment in the story of each dish has become his signature style. Whether its street food, everyday food, gastronomy, haute cuisine or food art, Ekarin aims to illustrate the character of each dish through compositions that connect to our sense of deliciousness.

Ekarin’s exquisite visual poetry can also be seen in the award-winning cookbook, “Riverside recipes Thai cooking at Chakrabongse Villas”. He is a key member of Iron Chef and Master Chef Thailand’s food team; And credited as one of 100 modern iconic people of Siam Discovery Center in Thailand . After years of working in the printing industry, Ekarin has recently started an exciting new role as styling director of Food and Tone company and Im-aim styling studio, where he also teaches styling master class workshops.
